About Silly Joel's
How Joel got so Silly!
Silly Joel comes from a big, lively family and has been making people laugh since he could talk! With over 30 years of experience working with children in childcare, summer camps, and youth sports, Joel has dedicated his life to creating fun, meaningful experiences for kids. He’s developed numerous children’s programs and authored several books along the way. A longtime leader in youth development, Joel has spent over a decade at the YMCA and more than 20 years at a local community center. His passion lies in helping kids grow — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. At Silly Joel’s Summer Camp, his mission is to inspire the next generation through creativity, play, and kindness.

Through a play-based approach, we create a fun, engaging environment where children are encouraged to explore, solve problems, and think critically. Beyond learning and play, we focus on building strong character, helping kids grow into kind, respectful, responsible individuals who understand the value of teamwork and honesty.
